Aamir Khan refused Sanjay Dutt biopic? Here

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has had a tumultuous life. The controversies surrounding his personal and professional life will now be presented on the reel in Rajkumar Hirani's directorial the Sanjay Dutt biopic.

The film has garnered enough eyeballs, be it the lead actor Ranbir Kapoor essaying Dutt on-screen or the supporting cast in the film. The latest bit of news is bound to take you by surprise. According to Pinkvilla.com, Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan was offered a role in the Dutt biopic. But guess what? It was not the lead role but his father Sunil Dutt's role.

Yes! The report quotes a leading daily and mentions that the filmmaker Raju Hirani and write Abhijat Joshi met Aamir for narration, he thought it is for the titular role of Dutt. However, he eventually found out that it was for Dutt's father's role. He has been quoted as saying, "I thought you were coming to narrate the role of Sanjay Dutt. I am not interested in playing the role of his father."  However, no official word has been made about it either by the filmmaker or by the actor.

Dutt biopic will feature Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role besides Paresh Rawal, who will play his father (Sunil Dutt's) role on-screen. The film also stars Anushka Sharma and Sonam Kapoor in pivotal roles.
